Abstract:
Target detection and recognition have been the fundamental tasks in radar systems. Recent progresses in radar theory and engineering have promoted the fast development in radar detection and recognition, which paves the way for heightened capabilities in detecting and classifying targets in diverse complex environments. Especially with the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), they are also experiencing a significant paradigm shift. This session will explore the latest advancements in radar target detection and recognition. Topics will encompass waveform design, innovative detection and recognition methods in complex environments, the intersection, challenges and opportunities in integrating AI with radar. We encourage the submission of original research papers, case studies, and industrial experiences related to radar target detection and recognition.
