Abstract:
Subsurface radar sensing has emerged as a pivotal technology in a broad spectrum of scientific and engineering domains, including geophysics, civil infrastructure assessment, environmental monitoring, archaeology, and planetary exploration. This section brings together cutting-edge research and practical advancements in radar-based subsurface imaging and detection, with a particular focus on Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and related radar modalities.
Contributions in this session highlight the latest developments in signal processing algorithms, data interpretation techniques and applications. Furthermore, the session explores novel applications in complex environments—ranging from urban infrastructure and underground utilities to natural geological settings and planet exploration.
