Abstract:
Spaceborne microwave surveying and mapping data is a fundamental and strategic information, which has been widely applied in the fields of hydrology, meteorology, geology, construction, communication, military. Spaceborne InSAR system can achieve global terrain maps without GCPs. After decades of development, TanDEM-X and TH-2 have been deployed in orbit. The spaceborne microwave InSAR system technology has entered the stage of operational application. TH-2 is a paradigm for the use of aerospace information in national defense and economic development. Chinese spaceborne InSAR system development has embarked on a path of independent innovation. Following the principles of fundamental theory, development history, key technologies, and development trends of space-based InSAR systems, this report reviews and prospects the development of spaceborne InSAR systems and technology in China. Finally, it conducts some discussions and reflections.
