Abstract:
Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) can obtain the two-dimensional (2-D) high resolution images of the space target under all-day and all-weather conditions. However, the 2-D ISAR image is just the projection of the three-dimensional (3-D) geometry of the space target on the imaging plane. To better analyze the structure characteristics of the observed target, the research on the 3-D geometry reconstruction has attracted huge attention. This talk firstly presents the basic 2-D imaging model, which clarifies the projection relationship between the 3-D geometry of the space target and the imaging results. Then, factorization decomposition-based 3-D geometry reconstruction methods are discussed in detail. After that, several image energy accumulation-based 3-D reconstruction methods are presented, making full use of the observation information of the ISAR system on the space target. Finally, the conclusion is drawn.
