Abstract:
In order to obtain a reasonable evaluation of the on-line performance and instrument stability of meteorological satellites, the raw data of the spaceborne scatterometer within the global scope is analyzed in time domain and space domain, isotropy characteristics of the backscattering coefficient(σ0) are calculated, then multi-type natural geographic targets with stable backscattering characteristics are screened, and the variation trends of σ0 data with the months, seasons and years are analyzed, which provides references for on-line calibration of the meteorological satellite radar in the future.
