IET International Radar Conference 2013 will be held on 14-16 April 2013 in Xi’an, China. This is the second IET International Radar Conference after the first one which was successfully held on April 2009 in Guilin, China. The aims of the conference are to introduce the latest technological development and academic research hot spots of the radar technology, especially the latest research achievements and applications of civilian radar technology. It will provide a communication platform for domestic and foreign radar experts and technicians. All papers presented at the conference will be reviewed by the IET in consideration for publication. Those that meet the expected levels of quality and technical content will be accepted for publication on the IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore, indexed by IET Inspec and submitted to EI Compendex for consideration for indexing. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. After the conference, the excellent papers selected by the conference committee will be recommended for publication in Science China Information Sciences.
Xi'an is one of the birthplaces of the ancient civilization in the Yellow River Basin area of China. During 3,100-year development, Xi’an has been the capitals of 13 Dynasties and the starting point of the world-famous Silk Road, which witnesses the great changes of the Chinese nation just like a living history book. Xi'an is also a world-famous tourist city and a treasure house of cultural relics.
